Repair and Estimator losing registration status

Symptom: RegisteredRepair & Estimator modules vanishing

Versions Affected: Ondemand v.5.8.1

OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7

Description:

Just installed or updated Ondemand Repair & Estimator v5.8.1 and it works fine. Then when you try accessing through Manager it gives you the window that you must purchase the software. When youreopen Ondemand Repair & Estimator v5.8.1 the products under Help and About show "Not Registered".

Solution:

Right click on the OD5/SK5 desktop icon

Select properties

Select Compatibility Tab

Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

Select"Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" from the drop down box

Check the "Run this program as an administrator"under "Privilege Level"

If you now get the error message that this is not the correct version error when selecting OEM Parts&Labor or Repair buttons through Manager then turn off UAC. Then try again.
